We meet a lot of great people in our search for interesting landscapes to photograph. One thing is inescapable - our landscapes shape us as we shape them. Sometimes in subtle ways, such as the influence a family-owned corner drug store has on a neighborhood. Sometimes in profound ways, like the influence the Ballard Locks has on Seattle and the Northwest. These short photo essays will show the people who shape the place and the place that shapes the people. Some will be focused on place, others on people. They are people and places we couldn't pass by and this is a work in progress.
